Use case

I was testing --enable-experiment for the first time, and I got carried over to https://dart.dev/tools/experiment-flags. By a lack of attention on my part, I was trying to run my project with flutter run -v -d Windows --enable-experiment=inline-class,no-slow-checks.

Please note that the no-slow-checks part at the end is not a valid experiment.

Proposal

There could be a check when running with enable-experiment to see if the experiment exists or not. I was a bit confused because I only got the error when running with the option enabled, without it everything worked just fine.
