Great Service
I had not realized that it was an automatic annual renewal of the service and woke up with a big receipt for the annual fee that i cannot affort at the moment, but the team was super helpful and fast and gave me a full refund, really grateful for it and appreciate the professionality.

Automated responses - I've been scammed.
Quick update on the situation regarding a refund. They've now messaged me asking if I was happy with their response and that if all my questions were answered. I can confirm zero questions have been answered and no response bar this generic timed message. I've logged into my account and looked at the mail chain still no updates or responses. This company has fallen so badly since the new ownership. Scam tactics in order to steal £1000's from people. Still awaiting my $2000 refund.

As other users have noted, Issuu recently changed their pricing and subscription tiers. This meant our subscription increased from $480 to $2740 with no notification like other reviewers.
Having filled in an online form 3 times I have received no communication from ISSUU. There is no other contact available.
This is unethical behaviour and will put charities and the businesses into financial trouble.
If you are considering ISSUU, think twice!! Be warned!!

Drastic price increase with no notification
I signed up for an Issuu account in December 2023 and paid £390 for an annual membership, which I thought was reasonable.
However, on December 18, 2024, I was shocked to find that Issuu had charged £1,848 to my card for the renewal—an astronomical increase with absolutely no prior notification or warning about the price hike.
I received no email or alert informing me of the upcoming renewal or the drastic change in pricing, which feels highly unprofessional and unfair. This kind of unexpected charge is both frustrating and disappointing, especially when transparency should be a basic expectation from any reputable company.
Issuu's lack of communication and the sudden, extreme price increase have left me deeply dissatisfied. I would caution anyone considering their service to think twice.

ISSUU's awfull business practices
ISSUU's recent price hike demonstrates highly unethical business practices. In October, they sent me a 300-word email detailing plan changes, new features, and other updates. Tucked away within that message was a single line mentioning the price for the upcoming billing cycle—a detail that seemed intentionally easy to overlook. To add to the frustration, this email was their sole communication about the price adjustment, which resulted in an astonishing increase of over 400% (from $64 to $269).
Having been a loyal ISSUU customer for more than five years, I contacted them regarding this issue but received no response!
So, I have started searching for another provider that values transparency.

Issuu is a poor experience for customers
Issuu is a terrible experience as a customer. It seems designed for publishers and not for customers who purchase items. You are immediately presented on login with a range of options for paying for their publishing services. But if you’re someone who bought content with no intention of publishing if feels like you wandered into the storeroom at the back of a shop. It needs a separate experience for publishers and for customers.

Measure ISSUU by how they reply to these reviews.
If you want a measure of how much ISSUU cares about their customers, take notice of the formulaic robot replies to every poor review. Do they even read them? After years of paying agreed upon rate, Issuu has increased their price. The announcement hidden in what looks like a typical marketing email.

I too was caught up in this sudden…
I too was caught up in this sudden price increase from $480 to $2259. i had to badger constantly for a refund and when I was refunded, I was short changed $107. Despite my persistent messaging about this, they are now ignoring me. $107 in South African rands is a lot. They did not fully refund me and the exchange rate did not changed a great deal between 26 November and 2 December, so there's no justification for the $107 difference. Will they respond on here?

Problem fixed quickly
Due to a technical error, we were incorrectly billed. The ISSUU agent, "Joy" promptly issued (pun intended) a credit. As we are a small nonprofit, it's good to know that the ISSUU team stands by its reputation for integrity and service. Thanks, ISSUU!
