This study aims to describe and analyze the quality of service for making SIM C and find out what... more This study aims to describe and analyze the quality of service for making SIM C and find out what factors affect the quality of service for making SIM C at the Traffic Unit Office of the Hulu Sungai Utara Resort Police. The research method used is qualitative with qualitative descriptive research type. Overall, the quality of the SIM C-making service at the Hulu Sungai Utara Resort Police Traffic Unit is considered to be quite good, this can be seen from the registration service that provides good service, but the parking lot is still inadequate. Payments at the BRI counter have been carried out in accordance with applicable regulations. It's just that for data entry SIM photos, the service is a bit slow and the service waiting room is not comfortable because air conditioner is broken. The implementation of the theoretical exam and practical exam of SIM services is good, it's just that the field for practical implementation is a bit bumpy. SIM issuance service is good. Factors related to the quality of service for making SIM C at the Hulu Sungai Utara Resort Police Traffic Unit are human resources, facilities and infrastructure, uncertainty of service time, network system errors and power outages. To improve the quality of service for making SIM C, the authors suggest to the Head of the Traffic Unit of the Hulu Sungai Utara Resort Police to further improve the facilities and infrastructure, especially for air conditioning, parking lots, and fields for practical exams. Increasing the reliability of officers in serving quickly. Adding human resources and the need to repair or buy a generator, so that when a power outage occurs it does not become an obstacle when carrying out the service process for making a SIM.
