Gisela Eife
Gisela Eife, MD, (eife@g-eife.de) is a specialist for Psychotherapeutic Medicine, Psychoanalysis (DGPT, DGIP). She has been in private practice since 1987. Dr. Eife is lecturer, supervisor and training analyst at the Alfred Adler Institute for Individual Psychology in Munich. From 1991 to 2006 she was in charge of the outpatient-clinic for adult patients with psychic disorders at the Alfred Adler Institute. From 2011-2013 she served as the President of the German Society for Individual Psychology. From 2007 to 2015 she was a lecturer at the Sigmund Freud Private University in Vienna. As a member of the Editorial Board of the Alfred Adler Studienausgabe, edited by Karl Heinz Witte, she was the editor of Volume 3 in this series of seven volumes, which was published in 2010. She has extensive publications on theory and practice of Individual Psychology. In 2016 her book “Analytische Individualpsychologie in der therapeutischen Praxis. Das Konzept Alfred Adlers aus existentieller Perspektive” was published. In 2019 her E-Book “The Development of Alfred Adler’s Individual Psychology. Theory of Personality, Psychopathology, Psychotherapy (1912-1937)” was published.
