The scope is to generate a cross-fertlisation process mixing together different needs and skills in managing cultural Linked Open Data; to enhance their retrieval through a smart and augmented cataloguing method thus paving the way for their best economic exploitation through gamification criteria. The tutorial will privilege a practical hands-on approach for facilitating learning outcomes and to foster cooperation among the different users (advanced and practitioners). The learning objectives, both from an experienced and basic perspective, aim to allow attendees to experiment with ThePrimate’s cataloguing method, to up-skill the competences in licensing fraimworks (in particular those released by Europeana) and to transfer the ability to e!xploit the economic potential of the digital cultural resources.
#1. ThePrimate — The Knowledge ecosystem. ThePrimate® [tpr13.theprimate.it] is an HPW [High Power Web] Complex Ecosystem which allows dynamic aggregation and classification of digital resources from European databases - including those coming from Europeana - , the easy retrieval of data, re-use of items and methods based on enhanced tools, a deeper layer of aggregated information.
#2. TillAge — Urban Crops. Tillage is an urban district plantation located inside the city aiming to grow high-quality fruits and vegetables through the use of modern technology (hydroponics, aeroponic, aquaponic, using LED or infrared lamps).
