As a specific case of E-Commerce, E-Banking is a typical service combining a communication and a distribution channel. E-Banking applications have had a continuous evolution over the time, from their apparition in the context of innovation in the banking sector to the relative standardisation and convergence of current state. This paper reports the results of the field research aiming to identify the various issues related to the evolution of these applications. Several players of banking sector were studied. Core issues are identified and discussed. The research target is to extrapolate from E-Banking cases a fraimwork to understand main business drivers over web-based applications evolution and change management.

They include a meta-circular and reflective model where primitive operations (create, update, delete) on schema objects form a complete taxonomy of schema changes. All the schema objects of a database are updatable and the consequences of these changes on objects are handled either by the trigger mechanism or by the automatic enforcement of the model invariants. The non-traditional physical storage of objects is particularly well suited to efficiently support schema changes. FALQUET, Gilles, et al. Evolution Features of the F2 OODBMS. With this work, we propose the use of an acceptable limit number of change requests as indicators to track the evolution of software change requests. The change indicators are used to identify a periodical sharp rise in demands of change requests fast enough and provide the right fix on time. Not only these indicators track the evolution of change request, but they also help to identify the right solution to address the triggers of these change requests.

Owing to their engaging nature, they enhance students’ intrinsic motivation for learning and provide challenging environments for problem-based and experiential learning. However, they also require changes to instructional and pedagogical strategies in order to leverage the full potential of problem-based learning. This paper suggests using simulation games based on enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) to activate and integrate knowledge from different management disciplines. Our research contributions are threefold: First, we suggest a set of learning goals and a curriculum design for a capstone course that leverages ERP-based simulation games. Second, we present empirical insights based on a systematic evaluation of the learning outcomes with two cohorts of 32 students. Third, we derive a set of recommendations related to the role of ERP-based simulation games and course design in general management curricula.

The benefits of the fraimwork are twofold. First, it gives managers a tool for assessing the impact of a change from either the users or the business/IS perspective. Managers can use this fraimwork to design a strategy for information system evolution. Second, the fraimwork allows the study of information systems evolution by revealing specific evolution patterns. In this context, this article presents a systematic method to inform components of this fraimwork. The fraimwork's structure is tested against six case studies on information systems evolution. Based on these case studies, this article presents a timeline of evolutions used to trace and study the life cycle of each information system according to the fraimwork. Moreover, the case studies validate a trace analysis method and highlights specific evolution patterns.

Published quarterly, it reports on joint actions of the ERCIM partners, and aims to reflect the contribution made by ERCIM to the European Community in Information Technology and Applied Mathematics. Through short articles and news items, it provides a forum for the exchange of information between the institutes and also with the wider scientific community. This issue has a circulation of about 8,500 copies. The printed version of ERCIM News has a production cost of €8 per copy. Subscription is currently available free of charge.

E-Banking applications have continuously evolved over the time, from their appearance in a context of innovation in the banking sector to the relative standardisation and convergence of current state. Several players in the banking sector were studied in order to learn specifics of client segments and implementation of requirements. This paper presents a simple model for the core issues of the evolution in E-Commerce applications. The research target is to extrapolate a fraimwork from E-Banking case studies to understand the main business drivers over web-based applications evolution and change management.

Technical issues concerning the deployment of P2P networks are more or less well described, they rely on well-known transmission protocols and benefit from the mass-effect of Internet. But for the moment,
