Fioptics Internet Assistance helps ensure households can afford the broadband Internet they need for work, school, healthcare, and more.
The benefit provides a discounted rate of $30 per month for 12 months for Fioptics 100/100 Mbps Symmetrical Internet to eligible households, with no data caps and no contracts. This price is limited to one Fioptics Internet Assistance discount per address.
In order to qualify for Fioptics Internet Assistance, you must either:
- Have qualified for the Lifeline program
- Participated in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) within the past 12 months.

- ACP subscriber ID
- Proof that you previously qualified for ACP
Fioptics Internet Assistance program is for new (not valid for customers who had an active account in the past 6 months) or existing altafiber customers. Availability is determined by the service address and is not available in all areas. Customer must submit formal Fioptics Internet Assistance application to qualify for discount between 6/1/2024 through 12/31/2024. Please allow five business days for altafiber to apply this promotion. The promotion runs for 12 months at a cost of $30 to the customer. Billing is separated by $28.68 for the 100/100 Mbps plus a $1.32 utility surcharge for a monthly total of $30.00. eBill is required to enroll to Fioptics Internet Assistance program. "Promotion" refers to a discount amount applied to the standard price of altafiber products for a promotional period. Prices for standard items are subject to change. The Internet price excludes the $11.99/month wireless equipment fee, but customers can bring their own or plug ethernet cords directly into data jacks.
