I Streamed this over on Twitch after stumbling across it and thinking it was a fun little game; here is my perspective
- The game's graphics are actually pretty dope! I Like the 3D Aesthetic and overall thought it did have some sort of charm
- With Charm, there is stupidity. Seeing the void of the world or having characters run off into the forest and just *stay* there (not even respawning or going far enough away to render out) was just silly.
- The game felt rush - What you read in the bio / description for this ambitious game is not what you really *get*. You start at what I can only presume is a job centre before suddenly appearing outside of a store that lacks a door and has random boxes that can be knocked over and will eventually lead to your FPS tanking (And I have a fairly good gaming PC build. . .)
- The ending is a bit random and abrupt - just suddenly winding up at the next location and the game ending with no actual real reasoning is just a total mind f*ck.
In My Opinion this game was semi-good and semi-what-the-f*ck-did-I-Just-Witness. The graphics was great, world building could use some work and the sudden events occuring in the span of 20 minutes (so the description says - it didnt take me that long unless I was totally mind f*cked) was just a bit too odd or random. Maybe I am missing something from the devs other games?
Design: 6/10
World-Building: 3/10
Character Design: 5/10
Story: 2/10
Overall: 4/10!
It's a fun short game that is goofy (if your sense of humor is goofy sounds and sudden jumpscares with the most random conversations) - Aside from that? It doesn't warrant much else. Although as a fellow game dev- I think this game can progress and be much better! Keep going!
