As previous replies have said, you can either take a knife for them in Chapter 7, or be nice to them (have fewer than X amount of "rude" points).

In my experience with the Itch.io app, I think it helps if you clear cache? I could be completely wrong. But the usual troubleshooting tends to help with most users.

Hi! I'm so sorry you're experiencing this. To be quite honest, I'm not sure what the issue is here. It might be a problem with your device itself. If you're playing on the Itch app, have you tried switching to browser? Or vice versa?

As for your question: I actually started with the characters and crafted the story around them. I also knew I wanted there to be some sort of mystery aspect (with supernatural elements) so thus, WTS was born. I simply kept reworking stuff over and over until I had (a flimsy excuse) a plot I could work with and then slowly shaped it.

If you're stuck on choosing genders, I'd use the randomize button. I don't have a preference for how I see my characters (and wouldn't want to state so to give players the idea that there is a "canon gender"). From a developer standpoint, however, I give them all they/them pronouns in my head (mostly for coding purposes). 

They're all my children, but Blane has a special place in my heart <3

I'm so glad you felt so taken by these characters—they live in my head rent free, so knowing they also take up space in other people's thoughts is surreal and so flattering. I'll likely post some kind of walkthrough when the game is finished, but truly, there isn't much to be 'walked through'. Locked choices don't tend to have any consequences, just flavour text. 

And no, it doesn't matter if you romance multiple characters now, but eventually the game will ask you to choose. Poly routes are being considered, but if I go through with it, it won't be in the initial romance lock <3

it's only available if you have the itch.io desktop application. otherwise, you need to play it in your browser
