Is there a way to link the itch version to steam so I can get more cosmetics? or is there a way to get more cosmetics through itch?

I was drawn to this submission because the concept seemed pretty familiar lol. Great minds I guess. As for the game itself the mechanic is fun to play around with. My only criticism is I would like to see a way for the player to use the ability more creatively. Possible multiple paths in order to avoid linear gameplay? Great game regardless.
This game is SUPER impressive! The art covers clearly had a lot of care and the game play loop is really engaging. I could see this being an actual title for a micro game. My only criticism is it seems that rewinding tapes appears to be an inferior strategy compared to just grabbing more and more tapes from the bin until you get pre-wound tapes.
The game looks and sounds great! The concept is charming as well but the tutorial is pretty harsh. Dying at all sets you all the way to the beginning so you have to redo portions of the game that have already been covered. This also happens a lot because the platforming is pretty tight. You also can't move on quickly even if you know what you're doing because your stages are intertwined with movement, so stopping is required in order to properly advance.
Essentially, the idea and execution are stellar. The pacing early on can be grueling though, which is a shame because the game as a whole is great.
The game has some nice polish. It looks and sounds great while also having a nice mechanic. I must say that the tutorial is a but unfair, namely with the spikes. I died to them multiple times not knowing there were spikes on the floor because the screen scroll didn't show them before I landed. The combat is really fun though so I wish it was forced on the player more, as in many areas it seemed the best strategy was just to run past the enemies.
All things considered though this is a very well developed game. Good work!
