The theme does not have to be strictly 2 characters finding love, it just needs to be centered around the theme of love and attraction. The only limit is your own creativity!

Starting the creative process (brainstorming, the script, creating assets etc) before the jam are fine! So long as you don't actually start programming and putting the game together until the start date, I won't be a stickler for it.

Hello! The choices to make hiro's German stilted/awkward were intentional. Not sure about the worker's speech, I had a few german speakers look at it and they helped make it sound antiquated.
