Welcome to the Office of K16 Initiatives, a hub of innovation hosting a diverse array of programs dedicated to guiding students through the college transition, enhancing achievements, closing equity gaps, and promoting economic mobility.

Our Mission

At the heart of our mission lies the profound connection between the City University of New York (CUNY) and New York City Public Schools (NYCPS). We recognize the symbiotic relationship formed by the students they jointly serve. K16 Initiatives thrives on fostering collaboration between CUNY and NYCPS, ensuring that every incoming college student is not just prepared but empowered for success. Our commitment extends from early education through post-college careers, crafting a seamless pathway to a brighter future.
