What We Do
At K16, we forge strategic partnerships to address systemic educational inequities, creating innovative pathways for young New Yorkers to envision and achieve academic and career success. Recognizing the pivotal role of college readiness, K16 houses unique pipeline programs united by a common goal: facilitating a seamless transition for NYCPS students into college, career, and beyond. Nationally recognized, our programs are instrumental in eliminating achievement disparities among racial, ethnic, and socio-economic groups, ensuring long-term student success.

Explorers allows NYCPS students to visit a college campus to promote academic success while building life skills.
CUNY Early College
Grades 6-College
Early College supports high school early college programs and college readiness outcomes for traditionally underrepresented students.
Tutor Corps
Grades 6-College
Tutor Corps is a tutoring and near-peer mentorship program that operates across all five boroughs of NYC.
FutureReadyNYC
Grades 8-12
FRNYC high schools develop career pathways in business, education, healthcare, and technology.
STEM Research Academy
Grades 9-11
STEM RA allows high school scholars to explore their interest in STEM, expanding their STEM skillset and building a network.
College Now
Grade 9-12
College Now is a free college transition, dual enrollment program for NYCPS high school students.
CUNY Prep
Ages 16-19
CUNY Prep is a free college preparatory program that offers out-of-school youth an alternative pathway to college.
College & Career Advising Fellows
Grades 11-12
CCAF provide personalized college and career advising support to 11th and 12th grade NYCPS students.
College & Career Bridge For All
Grades 12-College
Bridge ensures all NYCPS students have near-peer mentor support as they graduate high school and transition to a postsecondary plan.
Teaching & Learning
Professional Development for Adults
T&L designs curriculum, coaches instructors, and facilitates professional learning to support NYCPS students.
Network for College Success
Professional Development for Adults
N4CS strives to enhance college persistence and graduation rates in NYC by coordinating student support services.
