Elisaeus (Hebraice אֱלִישָׁע , quod nomen Latine versum "Deus adiuvat" valet) fuit propheta in Regno Samariae, de quo in Libro secundo regum Bibliorum (2 Reg 2-14) narratur. Elisaeus Ioram, Iehu, Ioachaz regnantibus vixit. Primo discipulus Eliae, tum, postquam is "ascendit per turbinem in caelum" (2 Reg 2,11), successor eius acceptus est.

Etiam in Alcorano (Sura 6) memoratur et propheta habetur.
