FROM THE DEAN:
I am delighted to share two great publications with you. One will help us recruit our next class of undergraduate thinkers, creators and doers. The other is the work of our current class of undergraduates.

The first publication is our 20-21 ViewBook. It showcases our programs, majors and all of the involvement opportunities afforded to our students. You can view the interactive digital version here and if you know any college-bound students who you would love to see at UK next fall, be sure to send it their way.

The second publication is KRNL Lifestyle + Fashion. This publication is full of great stories and incredible photography and was put together using social distancing, masking and remote collaboration. And if putting out a publication during a pandemic isn’t enough reason to celebrate, we just found out that the Spring 2020 edition of KRNL Lifestyle + Fashion has won the Pacemaker, college media’s top award!

I hope you will enjoy (and share) each of these publications and help me congratulate all involved for a job well done!

Be well and Go Cats!
Jennifer

In October, the team hosted its 48th annual college tournament and only the third online tournament in its history. More than 100 teams from 27 states participated in the three-day event and the eventual champion was Dartmouth.

Last month, Chris Eckert and David Griffith, UK’s top debate partnership, were invited to the prestigious Harvard Round Robin. This is special format invites the top nine partnerships around the country. Eckert and Griffith earned a fourth-place finish, even more impressive considering they were tied for being the youngest partnership in the field.
