FRAUDULENT UNEMPLOYMENT CLAIMS
There have been a few employees who've had fraudulent unemployment claims filed in their name. Most of these unemployment notices have been mailed to the employee's home address. If you receive any such paperwork, please notify Angela Keene immediately.  A scanned copy of the claim will need to be sent to the UK Unemployment Manager, Jeaune Hadl-Butler.

Secondly, the governor has requested that citizens email UIFraud@ky.gov if they receive notice of a claim they did not file. This email will need to come directly from the employee.

Lastly, UK offers a credit and identify theft monitoring service that is free for employees (and dependents) who are on any UK health insurance plan. This service is called AllClear ID. You can sign up for this service now even if you have not received a fraudulent unemployment claim. Please contact Angela Keene if you have any questions.
