PROS: What I like about Bandicam best is that it allows me to add branding elements to the videos that I record and edit through it.

CONS: I don’t know why, but Bandicam can be quite elusive. You’d think that it would readily publish more platforms where you can buy the premium version of it, but I had a hard time contacting them to buy a subscription.

PROS: One great feature that Bandicam offers is that it allows you to limit the screen recording view. This means that you can show only a fraction of your screen to get your message across. At some level, this gives me the privacy that I need.

CONS: The program used to take up only a small amount of space in my PC. However, with the recent updates, the size seems to have doubled, causing my PC to lag and/or freeze.

PROS: One word: smooth. Everything about this program just seems to integrate well into my computer and even in my workflow. It works so much better than its competitors, to be honest. I can even use it with the computer product that I am currently developing.

CONS: There are certain facets of Bandicam that I think need more work. I hope the developers would allocate time to really perfect this tool.

PROS: The best thing about Bandicam is that it has a foolproof 1-2-3 step of recording videos or screens. Once it has been set up, all you have to do is to click on the section of the screen that you want to record and it will start doing so. Locating the files after is pretty easy as well.

CONS: I understand that Bandicam is still in its formative stages--with new rollouts and updates being introduced regularly. However, these can get in the way of my smooth workflow, which I find very annoying. But whatever setback I’ve experienced here, the customer reps were quick and easy to remedy. Communication between us was swift and thus the problem was easily resolved. Worst case scenario: if your PC cannot support the new Bandicam update, you can request for the team to push you back to the previous version.

PROS: One of the main selling points that Bandicam offers is that it allows users to record the screen while recording a video from the webcam too! While this may sound complicated, the execution is actually far from this assumption. All you have to do is to input in the settings that you want voice and video to accompany your screen capturing and you’re done! It produces really good quality of videos, plus the files are easily transferable.

CONS: Nothing. Although I initially thought that Bandicam was to blame for my recording issues--I couldn’t record properly because I thought Bandicam kept on resetting. However, as it turned out, it was my computer’s settings that kept on refreshing itself. The Bandicam group was quick to help me fix this too. Still, just for extra measure, I recommend that you test out your program to make sure that everything is indeed being captured.

PROS: The possibilities of using Bandicam are endless! I usually tap into this software to record my gaming sessions, however, one can easily fire this up when recording client walkthroughs and team training too. I can see this being really useful in the academe as well. It has really good features. For one, it allows you to record your screen while simultaneously running your webcam on the background--capturing both you and the screen. Editing your audio and video is quite possible too.

CONS: Bandicam can be quite tricky sometimes as it intermittently resets your preferences, leaving you thinking that you’re recording when you’re actually not. My advice: save yourself the trouble of recording hours of footage only to realize that the screen hasn’t been recording by checking your settings every time you turn on Bandicam. Another thing, Bandicam doesn’t seem to have enough robustness to support graphic-heavy games. I’ve tried to record my screen on particularly larger files of games and my PC would crash.

PROS: Bandicam gives me high-quality videos at a range of available display and resolution availabilities. I can enjoy 4k recordings at up to 144 FPS. All this can be saved in substantially light files too.

CONS: In comparison to other screen-recording programs, Bandicam does not have the capacity to let you live-stream your records.

PROS: There are quite a number of benefits to using Bandicam. I’ve been enjoying using this so far because of the high-quality outputs that it gives me. I can easily turn it on and capture my screen even as the most graphics-heavy video games are being played. It is this professional finish on my videos that impress me the most too. The smoothness and quality of the videos through this tool are second to none. Plus, as a cherry on top, it’s a relatively affordable solution too. One can even use the watermark and get substantial screen recording time in.

CONS: To be honest, there is quite a bit of an uphill climb in learning this screen recording tool. This owes to the program’s ability to seamlessly integrate into your PC--up to a point where you can’t even recognize when it has been launched and is recording or not. You’d have to take the time to investigate the default settings too. If you don’t log in your preferences, you’d end up with some features that you won’t necessarily need. Other than these, I don’t have any other qualms in using this program.

PROS: Bandicam has obviously thought their program and business model through. On the business side of the spectrum, I love how easy Bandicam is on the pockets. For the value that it gives me and my team, this is truly a remarkable tool. I like how they gave us the option to test the product with a free version too. As for the program itself, I find myself constantly marveling at how robust and reliable it is. I can easily record the screen as I play video games--an impressive feat considering that it does not prompt my computer to lag or freeze up. I can even add commentaries easily as I play games too. Plus, the files that I’ve been able to export from this tool have been substantially compressed so as not to be too difficult to save or to send. All these are done without compromising the quality of the output.

CONS: It’s been resolved now, but I ran into some trouble that had to do with corrupted Bandicam files. They had Bandifix to remedy the issue though.

PROS: What I like best about Bandicam is that it allows me to capture my screen through its video recording feature and even save it in a format that is not too heavy nor clunky. What I’m trying to say is that this program allows me to save these videos in a substantially smaller file. You’d think that a program this advanced would be hard to navigate, but the opposite is actually true. I find this program particularly easy to use--partly owing to its straightforward layout and easy to find command buttons. And speaking of command buttons, you can easily set up a particular key in your keyboard and click on just that to fire off Bandicam’s screen capturing feature. Their support team is a delight to work with too. I’ve recently escalated an issue with them and they were quick to resolve it.

CONS: I can’t say much about the negative aspects of this program because I’m using its free version. However, if there was one thing that I would tweak in its configurations, I would extend the video recording limit to beyond ten minutes.

PROS: Bandicam has quickly become my go-to recording tool ever since it was introduced to me. I like how this efficiently addresses the increasing needs of today’s modern offices to have a screen-capturing tool. Beyond the quality of videos and screenshots that it has given us, I love how foolproof it is when it comes to sharing content within a workgroup. This is so because the file that Bandicam exports are designed to be light and easily shareable. Editing videos through it is possible too--an added bonus that I initially didn’t think I needed.

CONS: I use the free version of this program--which puts me in the position to not have too many complaints regarding how this program functions. However, I would appreciate it if they would allow us a longer recording time.

PROS: This has been truly instrumental in helping me grow my following on YouTube. I love how it allows me to split the view of the recording--one to capture my screen and the other to capture my commentaries and my face as I play video games. There’s a pretty awesome option of setting particular keys and designate commands to them too. These are more commonly known as “hotkeys” and have been really helpful in my quest to efficiently capture better shots of my games. I can “crop” the view of the recordings as well and direct them to just a particular part of my screen.

CONS: 10 minutes in some games doesn’t quite cut it and so I have to shell out money to upgrade my subscription. But of course, there’s no such thing as free lunch and I don’t find anything wrong with developers who want to earn money.

PROS: I love how Bandicam has a reasonable time-cap on your recording time. It’s really user-friendly too!

CONS: You’d have to shell out money to be able to enjoy some of its more premium features. Other than that, Bandicam works really great.

PROS: Bandicam offers the longest recording time among its competitors. The free versions in other programs only allow up to 2 minutes maximum--Bandicam, on the other hand, extends this to up to 10 minutes. It’s accessible on virtually any screen too--be it on the phone, TV, or gaming consoles.

CONS: There’s not much to complain about other than the logo that Bandicam insists on adding to the recordings.

PROS: I can go on and on about how this tool has made my gaming life exponentially better--and not to mention, more lucrative. I use Bandicam to record my screen as I play video games and this has opened up a whole world of possibilities for me. For one, I love how I can set my keyboard as “hotkeys” that allows me to capture my screen in just a single click on my keyboard. I can set this up to be any key that I prefer--pretty awesome, right? This feature makes sure that my screen capturing does not get in the way of my gaming. Another thing that I love about Bandicam is that it makes it possible to capture a certain area of my screen. This means that I can crop the view to just the area of my screen that I want to share. Overall, I’ve been really enjoying my time in using Bandicam. Sending files from it is pretty easy too because of the file properties that it produces.

CONS: These don’t hold much weight because I’ve been using the free version and I can’t really complain much about it. However, I do hope that they would permit users to have longer video recording times. There’s a logo of Bandicam on the recordings too. But then again, I can’t really complain.

PROS: Bandicam has proven to be a genius solution to today’s screen recording needs. It allows you to accomplish the said task at an impressive speed and quality. Sharing of these recordings is a breeze too.

CONS: As with any software these days, Bandicam does have its limitations. This comes in the form of its recording time. This has kept me from recording as much as I would like.

PROS: The best thing about Bandicam is that it has an easy, three-step solution to all my screen recording needs. All I have to do is to fire up the program, click on the button (I swear you can’t miss it), and then it will do what it does best--which is to record your screen. At work, I use this to explain my points more visually to any of our IT members. At home, I use this to record each of my gaming milestones so I can easily share them with my friends. It’s truly a brilliant tool. I know that there’s not much gushing that will do this awesome tool justice, so I would just recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable recording program.

CONS: Bandicam does have its moments that frustrate you to no end. Take an instance that just literally happened a while ago for example--I’ve been trying to record my screen so I can file a helpdesk ticket to our IT team. Unfortunately, I’ve been continuously unable to do so because the program keeps on crashing and/or freezing. I’ve been attempting to record my screen for the past hour and have been unsuccessful in doing so.
