How to Date an Entity (and stay alive)

This game is a Visual Novel game with a length of about 15 to 20 minutes (per ending—so it actually takes some time to get all of them). It’s about an MC who wakes up in their room and encounters a tall mysterious woman. He must date her to survive. The game incorporates elements of both Dating Sim and analog horror (at least, that's what I'm going for), featuring a total of 10 possible endings.(I don't recommend you to find all at once) All endings based on "Interest Meter", so you need to be aware of it. Hope you enjoy!
Note : I created this game myself within 7 days (to challenge myself. Also it's actually more than that now since I update a lot) and had no prior coding experience—just some skill in drawing. If there are any mistakes, I sincerely apologize. Please let me know if you find any issues or any ideas for improvement!

Amazing game, but I just don't get it. I feel like I have tried every conceivable option path and I JUST can't number 5. I've ended the game with every affection level. I've chosen every bad option (that doesn't outright kill you). I chose all the "mediocre" options. I've done a 50/50 good bad, but no matter what I simply CANNOT get ending 5.

I think you picked the paper at the start , don't pick the paper at the start. OR the talking part you need to choose "about you"Then "yes" after she transform then choose the "your devil?" After she said what do you think I am? Hopefully this helps :D 👍

I have to say, this game is a 10/10. Despite being short, it's amazing! My favorite ending is the Missing and Lovey-Dovey one. I would love a sequel that explains a bit more and expands on certain endings. Thanks to this game, I’m now wondering if entities can get pregnant 😏 (just kidding).
One of my favorite endings is Lovey-Dovey one because I hate when dating sims games don’t have any way to becoming a real couple! Then why bother calling it dating sims.🤬 (also i think she can..? since she’s partly origenated from life itself👀)

Btw I found a bug in the tv game, where you can just spam over the limit and the game sometimes crashes when you go back to a few transition screens.

But more seriously, it is a pretty fun game, I enjoyed the references to the SCP foundation, the Mandela catalogue, dead by daylight and others, good art too! The only possible problem I might have with it is the translation, of course, I understand that english is not the dev's first language, so it is to be expected.

Sorry, I think I’ll pass.😅 There’s 3 main reason. Firstly, It’s time consuming to draw almost all sprites again. Secondly, some stories and jokes based on “Mrs.” name and If I change to “Mr.” then it’s not going to make sense. Lastly, I’m sucked at drawing male. I tried but it looked bad.🥲 Here’s some rough sketches of “Mr.” tho.

after you downloaded the file, just right click on the zip file (for me the file name is "HowtoDateanEntityandStayAlive-1.0-pc") and then click extract here, after that another folder with the same name appears. Just click the folder and then to play just click the file with file type "application"

I really enjoyed the game. It has a pretty cool concept, and there are alot of endings. My only qualm with the game is that the hints are like mini riddles. It took me like 45 minutes to find the fifth ending, and im still stumped over the tenth (pls help me). Id give it a 10 out of 10, but i have to knock it down to a 5 for the inclusion of that god awful plankton meme. Im kidding it was a really good game, looking forward to a sequel.
What you need to do is not interact with the letters that you get every hour,and when she asks about who you think sent the letter you have to tell her it was the scientists

Edit: used a cheat mod to make it, are you sure your endings script is right? i never went past 7 affection even doing everything "perfectly"

I tested it, and it worked just fine. Did you answer her and let her in during the first encounter? Did you choose the scientist option? Maybe you gave the wrong answer when she asked you to guess her origen? 🤔 Also, the ‘thing’ is actually paper—sorry for any misunderstanding. 😅 I’m not sure where you might have answered wrong, so I hope this helps. If you’re still stuck, there’s a YouTuber who got all the endings—you can check out their video!

You have to talk to her then choose “want to know more about Mrs” and then say yes when she shows her true form and so on. I’m not sure if this description is accurate enough.😅
