Ellen Hoog
Ellen Hoog (born 26 March 1986 in Bloemendaal, North Holland, Netherlands[1]) is a Dutch field hockey midfielder. She played for the Amsterdamsche Hockey & Bandy Club and the Netherlands women's national field hockey team. She first played for the Netherlands in 2004. She has since played in 124 matches and has scored 32 goals.[2]
Hoog is sponsored by Ritual Hockey. Along with teammate Eva de Goede, she modeled with Sports Illustrated in 2013.[3]
She retired from hockey in May 2017.
Olympic Games
[change | change source]Hoog played for The Netherlands field hockey team in the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympics. The Netherlands team won the gold medal for each year. [4]
