Ellen Hoog (born 26 March 1986 in Bloemendaal, North Holland, Netherlands[1]) is a Dutch field hockey midfielder. She played for the Amsterdamsche Hockey & Bandy Club and the Netherlands women's national field hockey team. She first played for the Netherlands in 2004. She has since played in 124 matches and has scored 32 goals.[2]

Hoog is sponsored by Ritual Hockey. Along with teammate Eva de Goede, she modeled with Sports Illustrated in 2013.[3]

She retired from hockey in May 2017.

Olympic Games

Hoog played for The Netherlands field hockey team in the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympics. The Netherlands team won the gold medal for each year. [4]
