Arsimi shkencor

Arsimi shkencor është fusha që merret me shpërndarjen e përmbajtjes dhe procesit shkencor mësimor me individë të cilët nuk konsiderohen tradicionalisht pjesë e bashkësisë shkencore. Nxënës të këtyre formave arsimore mund të jenë fëmijët, studentët e kolegjit, ose të rriturit nga publiku i gjerë. Fusha e arsimit shkencor paraqet procesin mësimor (mësimdhënien) ku përfshihen mësime me përmbajtje shkencore, një proces shkencor ( me metodën shkencore), shkencat shoqërore si dhe disa përmbajtje pedagogjike. Standardet për arsimin shkencor ofrojnë pritshmëri për zhvillimin e mirëkuptimit për studentët gjatë gjithë rrjedhës së arsimit të tyre dhe më gjerë. Lëndët tradicionale të përfshira në standarde të tilla janë nga shkencat fizike, shkencat e jetës, shkencat e tokës, shkencat hapësinore dhe shkencën humane.
