Noam Chomsky on Ludwig Wittgenstein: A Contemporary Critique of the Concept of Language Privatization, 2024

Wittgenstein posits that language is intrinsically tied to social norms and communal practices, asserting that the acquisition of language is inseparable from cultural immersion and participation in shared activitieswhat he terms "playing the game" of language. In contrast, Noam Chomsky challenges this perspective by proposing the existence of a universal grammar innate to humanity, irrespective of factors like race, ethnicity, or demographics. According to Chomsky, while diverse languages may exhibit different word arrangements, there exists a fundamental universality in the underlying meaning of sentences. He suggests that this universal grammar is accessible to individuals through a theoretical cognitive mechanism known as the Language Acquisition Device. Chomsky's theory posits that humans possess an inborn capacity for language, allowing them to grasp the fundamental structures and rules of any language they encounter, transcending cultural or social boundaries. In this philosophical research project, the authors will reintroduce the debate and its contemporary status. The authors aim to give a strategic in-depth Chomskyan criticism of what Wittgenstein has deemed impossible to arise: Private Language.
Adulting and Dasein: Confronting Teenage Anxiety and Pressure through the Heideggerian notion of Angst, 2024

Some may contend that it unfolds subsequent to the culmination of formal education, when the imperative to autonomously cater to one's essential needs and desires becomes apparent. It is during this epoch that the realization of sustenance, commonly denominated in contemporary vernacular as adulting, permeates our consciousness. This juncture marks our ascension to a heightened cognizance of our circumstances, our standing, and our entrenchment within the tapestry of existence. Yet, the inquiry persists: At what juncture did our acumen attune itself to such circumspection? Martin Heidegger, in response to this query, would not proffer the post-academic epoch as a solution but instead posit a more profound origen-our very inception at birth. The intrinsic essence of being, or, in a more technical and commonplace delineation, the genesis wrought by corporeal birth, entails an ardent pursuit of comprehending and principally scrutinizing the meaning inherent in the world. This foundational endeavor of discovery assumes the mantle of paramount significance, effectively demarcating the outset marked by birth from the terminus defined by mortality/finitude. Within the precincts of one's cognitive cognizance, as one grapples with the actualities that come to fruition, anxiety precipitates through the confrontation with nothingness and the circumscribed parameters of Dasein. In his Being and Time, Heidegger wrote: Factical Dasein exists as born; and, as born, it is already dying, in the sense of Being-towards-death. As long as Dasein factically exists, both the 'ends' and their 'between' are, and they are in the only way which is possible on the basis of Dasein's Being as care. Thrownness and that Being towards death in which one either flees it or anticipates it, form a unity; and in this unity birth and death are 'connected' in a manner characteristic of Dasein. As care, Dasein is the 'between'. 1
On Neurosis: A Jungian Exposé of the Kierkegaardian concept of Anxiety, 2022

Kierkegaard thought that all the longing of Man will suddenly collapse in the first two spheres of the Aesthetic and of the Ethical. He argued that being here in this world is being in dreadful nothingness and being thrown into that world, therefore, the subject needs faith and there is a possibility of Divine Intervention (gribe ind).1 The utilization of suffering and pain nonetheless is quite prominent within the scope of the spiritual venture of Christendom. Hence, in respect to the Father of Existentialism's regard to it, there is a Swiss Psychiatrist, who has also credibility in Philosophy since he is well regarded by his contemporaries, who disliked the "Kierkegaardian concept of Anxiety". He is associated with the famous Austrian Neurologist Sigmund Freud. They became collaborators for five years. His name is Carl Gustav Jung or C. G. Jung.
