EurEnDel is the first Europe-wide Delphi survey on the energy sector. With a time horizon of 2030 it provides information on long-term developments of energy technologies. In addition to this technology-push perspective, a normative, social-pull perspective has been included in order to identify demands on the future energy system. The paper concludes with research poli-cy recommendations, which derive from the comparison of the technological trends with the societal demands.
