In this work, the performances of robust load flow methods are compared, in special when applied ... more In this work, the performances of robust load flow methods are compared, in special when applied to ill- conditioned systems. In such cases, the iterative process may diverge or oscillate when standard Newton Raphson (SNR) based load flow calculation methods are used. Some known approaches to solve these systems are the Load Flow with Step Size Optimization (LFSSO) and Continuation Power Flow (CPF). Also, the Continuous Newton Power Flow (CNPF) method was proposed recently as a novel approach to solve ill- conditioned systems. Even though the performances of these methods have been reported in several sources, a critical comparison of the convergence characteristics and results for ill-conditioned systems are presented in this work. A modified version of the CNPF is also tested in order to improve its robustness. Simulation results for some IEEE test cases and realistic systems are shown to validate the analysis.

Este desarrollo permite encender, apagar, generar una alarma sonora y obtener las coordenadas de ubicación del vehículo en forma remota. La aplicación interactúa con un módulo hardware de desarrollo propio, en proceso de protección intelectual, de bajas dimensiones físicas ubicado al interior del vehículo. Se obtuvo una evaluación exitosa al aplicar la metodología de las 6Ms. Palabras clave: Aplicación móvil, alarma para vehículos, GPS, Bluetooth. ABSTRACT: We develop a mobile system for monitoring and controlling a standard vehicle. We able turn on, turn off, generate an audible alarm and obtain the location coordinates of the vehicle remotely. Mobile app works with a low cost and dimensions remote hardware module into the vehicle (in patent process). We got a successful result by 6Ms methodology.

Este articulo presenta la aplicacion de un proyecto con miras a la automatizacion y el control, desde este enfoque se logran empresas mas competitivas con mayores margenes de rentabilidad (cantidad y calidad), integrando el diseno de un sistema de supervision remoto SCADA y un controlador logico programable PLC por medio del protocolo de comunicacion Modbus y lograr ejercer el control del proceso desde un lugar remoto mediante una red LAN, para controlar la temperatura del agua en un intercambiador de calor.
