Nicholas Gill
Nick is a cultural and environmental geographer with interests in natural resource management and conservation. His current projects include land management by peri-urban and lifestlye rural landholders, bushfire risk and amenity at the 'wildland-urban interface', and household responses to climate change.
Past work includes projects on indigenous pastoralism (ranching), indigenous pastoral history, settler pastoral culture and environmentalism, and urban bushland management.
His publications include work in the Journal of Rural Studies, Geoforum, Landscape and Urban Planning, Society and Natural Resources, Land Use Policy, Social and Cultural Geography, the Rangeland Journal, Australian Humanities Review, Journal of Environmental Planning and Management, Ecological Management and Restoration, and Australian Geographer.
