Severe weather possible for parts of Plains, Midwest

The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a risk of severe thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon & evening across portions of the northern Plains and Midwest. Damaging wind gusts, large hail and possibly a few tornadoes are expected. The area at greatest risk is from Iowa across northern Illinois into northwestern Indiana.
