Colour was is mentioned a few times in the Prophetic Traditions, which signifying its that it carries its own values and symbolic representation for the people. The Prophet PBUH has highlighted the significance of certain colours by describing his preferpreferredable colours to be used for his clothing in his dress and actions,and he also approved or discouraged his approvals as well his discouragements to the usagee of certain colours. Among the colours that wereare specifically mentioned and found in the hadith are white, red, green, black and yellow.
