Media ethics is more important than ever, because media plays a growing role in each of our lives. Historically, media has expanded from print media to radio and then TV media, and now it has expanded through the internet to our homes via computer and now always with us on our phones. Media and its effects can improve or undermine the common good of society, and an important aspect of the effects of media are how the uses of media enhance or detract from the dignity of human persons, particularly social media, which frequently has very little oversight, but far-reaching effects. Most of the examples for this talk will come from recent detrimental effects of social media in the US and China, as well as recent attempts which have been made by both countries to reign in social media's detrimental effects. I argue that media must be judged by its effects on the common good, as well as how it supports or undermines human dignity of persons.

Uncertain times require prompt reflexes to survive and this study is a collaborative reflex to better understand uncertainty and navigate through it. The Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic hit hard and interrupted many dimensions of our lives, particularly education. As a response to interruption of education due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this study is a collaborative reaction that narrates the overall view, reflections from the K12 and higher educational landscape, lessons learned and suggestions from a total of 31 countries across the world with a representation of 62.7% of the whole world population. In addition to the value of each case by country, the synthesis of this research suggests that the current practices can be defined as emergency remote education and this practice is different from planned practices such as distance education, online learning or other derivations. Above all, this study points out how social injustice, inequity and the digital divide have been exacerbated during the pandemic and need unique and targeted measures if they are to be addressed. While there are support communities and mechanisms, parents are overburdened between regular daily/professional duties and emerging educational roles, and all parties are experiencing trauma, psychological pressure and anxiety to various degrees, which necessitates a pedagogy of care, affection and empathy. In terms of educational processes, the interruption of education signifies the importance of openness in education and highlights issues that should be taken into consideration such as using alternative assessment and evaluation methods as well as concerns about surveillance, ethics, and data privacy resulting from nearly exclusive dependency on online solutions.
In the present article a short revision about the concepts of the unconscious is carried out. The basic premises of the Milton H. Erickson psychotherapy are described, illustrated by the study of two cases of anxiety disorders.

Facebook use is very popular among young people, but many open issues remain regarding the individual traits that are antecedents of different behaviours enacted online. This study aimed to investigate whether the relationship between self-esteem and the amount of time on Facebook could be mediated by a tendency towards social comparison. Moreover, three different modalities of Facebook use were distinguished, i.e., social interaction, simulation, and search for relations. Because of gender differences in technology use and social comparison, the mediation models were tested separately for males and females. Data were collected by means of a self-report questionnaire with a sample of 250 undergraduate and graduate Italian students (mean age: 22.18 years). The relations were examined empirically by means of four structural equation models. The results revealed the role of orientation to social comparison in mediating the relations between low self-esteem and some indicators of Facebook use, i.e., daily hours on Facebook and the use of Facebook for simulation. For females, the use of Facebook for social interaction was directly influenced by high self-esteem and indirectly influenced by low self-esteem. Globally, the dimension of social comparison on Facebook emerged as more important for females than for males.

The total energy consumption of Turkey is consumed in residence approximately %20 for this reason It seems that the issues that need to be addressed first are the energy saving potential and environmental impacts. In this study, energy efficiency and environmental performance of residences between 2019-2020. were calculated with non-parametric Data Envelopment that using Energy, demographic and environmental parameters of 81 provinces in Turkey. The sourting of the provinces performance was obtained with super efficiency model. Efficiency is defined as the ability of provinces to transform their energyinfluencing inputs into energy efficiency .In the analysis made according to the energy consumption performance per dwelling, 25.9% of the provinces were efficient, while in the study conducted according to the environmental performance per energy consumption, 13.58% of the provinces were found to be efficient. As a result of the analysis, input/output parameters were evaluated, and the results of energy efficiency and environmental efficiency were interpreted on a provincial basi and put forward a proposal to decision maker.
