Information for Instructors

In this site you will find:

Most materials in this site have been prepared by plant pathology instructors, and all have been peer-reviewed for accuracy of content and appropriateness for the intended audience. The K-12 section is designed primarily for teachers, although advanced high school students may find items of interest in the both the K-12 and Introductory Plant Pathology sections. The Introductory and Advanced Plant Pathology sections are designed for students in higher education and for continuing education. The Introductory section assumes some background in biology, but not plant pathology. The Advanced section is for people who have knowledge equivalent to a course in introductory or general plant pathology. There is also a section for instructor communication through peer-reviewed Teaching Notes and full-length articles.

Most of the materials are freely accessible. You may link to any of these materials from your own websites, but please credit the authors and the APSnet Education Center. We have included Instructor Notes with certain publications to help with preparation and background information. Some sections, such as the plant disease lessons and lab exercises, follow a model format, but other sections have individual formats. If you have comments on the current materials and/or requests for new materials on any topic, please contact Chris Little, Editor-in-Chief, at crlittle@ksu.edu. If you would like to contribute to this site, please see Information for Authors.
