How often should you change your toothbrush?

Replace toothbrushes every 3 to 4 months. Consider getting a new toothbrush sooner if you have been sick, especially if the toothbrush is stored close to other toothbrushes. When in doubt, look at the bristles. If they are frayed, they won't clean teeth as thoroughly. Because children often brush more rigorously than adults, they may need their toothbrushes replaced more often.
How do I clean my toothbrush?
Wash your hands before brushing (and flossing)

Rinse the toothbrush thoroughly with water after use

Store your toothbrush in an upright position so it can dry quickly (away from the toilet bowl and sink)

Don't share toothbrushes with anyone

Replace your toothbrush every three to four months

Use antimicrobial toothpaste to keep the germs down in your mouth

Once a week, you can also soak your toothbrush in antimicrobial mouthwash for a few minutes or in a mixture of water, vinegar, and baking soda for 30 minutes
Are electric toothbrushes better?

There are two styles of toothbrushes to consider: manual and battery/electric. Choose what feels comfortable and makes you want to brush your teeth regularly.
