Purpose: Information is collected to verify your identity for registration on the DVIDS Website www.dvidshub.net.
Routine Use: Information may be disclosed for any of the DoD "Blanket Routine Uses" published at http://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2022/11/14/2022-24646/privacy-act-of-1974-system-of-records Contact your local Privacy Officer for further details.
Disclosures: Voluntary; however, failure to provide the information will result in a failure to be registered on the DVIDS Web site.

Terms

By choosing to register on this site you are providing DVIDS with personal information. We only use that information to validate, create your account and respond to any message or request that you send us. We will only share the information you give us with another government agency if your inquiry relates to that agency, or as otherwise required by law. DVIDS never collects information for commercial marketing. While you are required to provide an email address, first name, and last name other information is not required and we encourage you to provide a work email instead of a personal email address.

DVIDShub.net is the content distribution center for ongoing worldwide US Military operations. It is managed by DMA (Defense Media Activity).  Non-registered members may view low resolution files. Standard, high definition video and high resolution photos can be downloaded for free to all registered members.  DMA reserves the right to provide high quality media to all registered members of this site and no others.

DVIDS is not responsible for copyrighted material uploaded without permission.  The use of copyrighted material is prohibited on DVIDS unless documented licensing or other permission has been granted and obtained from the source provider.  In the event copyrighted material is used, the uploading unit will provide to DVIDS documented consent from the source.  If the user fails to obtain authorization for the use of copyrighted materials, the user assumes all legal and financial liability for any subsequent legal actions involving misuse of the materials under 17 U. S. Code Chapter 5.  The user relinquishes DVIDS/DMA from all responsibility for any action involving the misuse of any materials.
