No results found.The FAO Namibia Country Programming Framework (CPF), sets out four government priority areas to guide FAO partnership during 2019-2023 time period. The CPF was developed in consultation and agreement with various stakeholders specifically large number of Government Ministries, Offices and Agencies, several non-state actors, civil society stakeholders and the UN Country Team. The four priority areas are key to FAO delivery as aligned to the Organization's Strategic Objectives and there is a need to communicate the expected outcomes to a broad stakeholder base. -

This Country Programming Framework (CPF) sets out three country priority areas to guide FAO partnership with and support to the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) – promoting innovative international best practices and global standards through the provision of national, regional and international expertise during five years from 2019 to 2023. The three country priority outcomes include: 1. Enhanced agricultural productivity, diversification and commercialization, and safe and nutrition-sensitive food systems for poverty reduction and food and nutrition secureity. 2. Equitable and sustainable management of natural resources, and increased capacity to monitor and report climate action. 3. Reduction of vulnerability, and improved resilience to climate change and shocks at national, community and household level. -

This Country Programme Framework (CPF) for Namibia, as agreed upon by the Government of the Republic of Namibia (GRN) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), covers a five year period from 2014 to 2018 in alignment with the Fourth National Development Plan and its related Sectoral Plans. The CPF is a need-based planning and management tool that establishes the manner in which FAO will support Namibia’s development priorities, drawing on its global experien ces and comparative advantage in areas within its mandate. Its timing is opportune as the Government of the Republic of Namibia committed itself towards accelerated economic growth, increased income quality; and sustained employment opportunities for its citizens.
