Samantha Zeman
Background
Samantha Zeman received her B.A. from University of California, Berkeley in 2009 and a MS in Marine Biology from University of Oregon in 2015. Samantha began work with the NWFSC, based out of the field station in Newport, in 2017.
Current Research
Samantha works with a team of researchers who conduct bi-monthly oceanographic monitoring on the Newport Hydrographic Line. She works as a zooplankton taxonomist and collaborates with team members to answer questions concerning plankton temporal and spatial trends within the broader context of basin and local scale physical processes.
