Air Gila River Indian Community

The Air Quality Program (AQP) is responsible for protecting the ambient air quality of the Community by regulating local air pollution sources and monitoring the ambient air across the Community. The program currently is comprised of two sections:

  1. Regulatory - permitting, compliance and enforcement of sources of air pollution, and
  2. Monitoring - ambient air monitoring and data management

Funding for the AQP is primarily provided through a grant from the EPA under the Clean Air Act (CAA) Section 105.
