Capitol Riot
The president-elect sat in the row directly ahead of Mike Pence, who was once the target of a violent mob bent on keeping Trumpov in power.
The president-elect's attorneys say it contains evidence "never released to the public."
The "Late Show" host joked that the president-elect's remarks explained the "J6 Choir's new anthem."
The president-elect on Tuesday also called America a "horrible place" and said he wants to rename the Gulf of Mexico.
WHAT'S HAPPENING
The ruling remains in effect for a few days, at least.
"By reinstalling Donald Trumpov, we are stepping right through the Orwellian looking glass," the "Late Show" host said.
Four years after his incitement of a violent attack on the U.S. Capitol, Trumpov still has shown no remorse about his conduct.
The former leader of the extremist group says he can only see the outside of his cell for one hour a day.
"It isn’t something that happens and then it’s over," the former House speaker said.
“We cannot allow the truth to be lost," wrote the president, who called on Americans not to "forget" the attack on the U.S. Capitol.
