Thank you to everyone who has helped support the Colorado Healthy Rivers Fund. Since 2003, over 150,000 contributions have resulted in more than $2,000,000 raised to complete 110 locally led watershed projects throughout Colorado. We appreciate your continued support and hope you will remember the Colorado Healthy Rivers Fund on Colorado Gives Day, December 10th. https://lnkd.in/gERUtWFr Here is one shining example. Roaring Fork Conservancy, in partnership with the Town of Carbondale, used Colorado Healthy Rivers Fund grant funding to restore and enhance a one-half mile, 18-acre reach of the Crystal River and improve the efficiency, functionality, and stability of the town owned Weaver Ditch diversion.

Palmer Ranch Colorado Healthy Rivers Fund Project Completed ✨ The Palmer Ranch Restoration Project developed as the result of a Bureau of Reclamation Grant that assisted the Animas Watershed Partnership (AWP) in identifying restoration opportunities through the Florida River Watershed in LaPlata County, CO. This effort identified 19 potential project properties. The Palmer Ranch property was identified as the first project of the 19 due to the enthusiasm and environmental ethic of the property owners and their willingness to contribute time and materials to the project. The areas of the ranch that previously had adverse impacts to water quality and stream bank stability have been fenced, seeded, and restored to ensure future protection of the riverine environment without adversely impacting ranch operations or water quality. #healthyriversfund #coloradowater #waterquality
