"Fake account" means someone creates a phony profile or impersonates another person.

"Spam" means someone advertises a product for monetary gain or posts irrelevant content for high visibility.

"Scam" means someone asks for personal information or money or posts suspicious links.

"Misinformation" means you believe that it's presenting false information as if it were true.

Click
Messaging icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Select the message from the list on the left rail.

Click the
More icon in the top right of your conversation thread and select Report this conversation. -
Select the applicable reason from the Why are you reporting this? menu and follow the on-screen instructions.

Click Submit to proceed with reporting the conversation, or Back to review your options.
Note: You can also report a conversation if you receive an automated warning from LinkedIn within a conversation thread. Learn more about automated in-conversation warnings. You may have the option to block the member after you report them. Once the member is blocked, you'll no longer see each other's profiles, updates, and messages.

More icon in the right corner of the post on your LinkedIn homepage. -
Click
Report this post. -
Select the applicable reason from the Why are you reporting this? pop-up window and follow the on-screen instructions.

More icon in the upper-right corner of the profile video when viewing it. -
Click Report.

My Network icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Click Ignore to remove the invitation without accepting it.

Click I don't know this person in the pop-up window in the bottom left corner of your screen.

Navigate to the profile you wish to report.

Click the
More icon and select Report/Block. -
Select the appropriate action from the What do you want to do? Pop-up window and follow onscreen instructions.

Click Submit to proceed with reporting the update, or Back to review your options.
