All three of these techniques are ones I’ve found success with as a D1 runner. The goal with all of these is to be more relaxed while running   1️⃣ Rhythmic Breathing: breathing at a rhythm helps you maintain relaxed while not speeding up or slowing down too much. This helps you work on control. You can breathe at a rhythm that works best for you, but one that I’ve found to work is inhale 2 seconds, exhale 3 seconds ⏰  2️⃣ Exhale longer than you inhale: This technique helps you maintain focused and it helps me feel like I’m getting a lot more oxygen in.
