Lee Grant - (1927- ) born Lyova Haskell Rosenthal. Stage, film and TV actress. Also worked on soap operas. Winner of 2 Emmy's 2 Oscars and an Obie Award. Blacklisted due to her husband for awhile so she did lots of stage work.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to LEE GRANT!! 10/31/21 Born Lyova Haskell Rosenthal, born sometime in the mid-1920s, American actress, documentarian, and director. She made her film debut in 1951 as a young shoplifter in William Wyler's Detective Story, co-starring Kirk Douglas and Eleanor Parker. This role earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress as well as the Best Actress Award at the 1952 Cannes Film Festival.
