  "MEND": HONOURING DR. ALEXANDER AUGUSTA

  Trinity alumnus Dr. Alexander Augusta (1825-1890): Rejected by American universities, Augusta completed his medical degree at Trinity Medical College – becoming the first Black medical student in Canada West – then used his skills to fight for civil rights and racial injustice on both sides of the border.

  TRINITY RECEIVES $10 MILLION FOR NEW INTEGRATED SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE

  Trinity College receives $10 million to support an ambitious initiative designed to integrate sustainability across the College. The donation, from Brian ’82 and Joannah Lawson, is the largest single donation in Trinity College’s 168-year history.
