Refunds available

As many of you may know issuu recently 6x their annual subscription price, fortunately after a few back-and-forth emails I was able to receive a full refund so makes good gesture

Communication would be a 5, the customer representatives have been very good to reply in a timely manner. Helping with platform when I and or my students had a questions.

The site is easy to work with on…

The site is easy to work with on publishing. I was not happy that my subscription increased over 400% in one year, but when addressed the issue was resolved with satisfaction.

Kindness, speed and efficiency - Renewal issues

I have forgot about my signature and the renewal was automatically made.
I was in shock because dollar is about 6x my currency (reais). So, ISSUU was super expensive for me and I couldn't afford it.
I tried to cancel my signature, but was too late. I payed the bill, and asked for help.
I was kinldy answered and had all my money back in the next day.

Automated responses - I've been scammed.

Quick update on the situation regarding a refund. They've now messaged me asking if I was happy with their response and that if all my questions were answered. I can confirm zero questions have been answered and no response bar this generic timed message. I've logged into my account and looked at the mail chain still no updates or responses. This company has fallen so badly since the new ownership. Scam tactics in order to steal £1000's from people. Still awaiting my $2000 refund.

Problem fixed quickly

Due to a technical error, we were incorrectly billed. The ISSUU agent, "Joy" promptly issued (pun intended) a credit. As we are a small nonprofit, it's good to know that the ISSUU team stands by its reputation for integrity and service. Thanks, ISSUU!

Great Service

I had not realized that it was an automatic annual renewal of the service and woke up with a big receipt for the annual fee that i cannot affort at the moment, but the team was super helpful and fast and gave me a full refund, really grateful for it and appreciate the professionality.

Measure ISSUU by how they reply to these reviews.

If you want a measure of how much ISSUU cares about their customers, take notice of the formulaic robot replies to every poor review. Do they even read them? After years of paying agreed upon rate, Issuu has increased their price. The announcement hidden in what looks like a typical marketing email.

Not every e publishing company is the same

I tried another well known e publishing company and ran into a lot of issues with pricing. Also communication and one complication or ways the company was making money off my content but I was not being compensated at all for it. Ultimately I took a chance with Issue and the experience has been night and day. I'm actually excited to create more content and grow a vast subscriber base.

Very frustrating change to pricing and poor customer service

As other users have noted, Issuu recently changed their pricing and subscription tiers. This meant that as a previously happy Premium user paying $76.80 a month (already a considerable investment for occasional business use, we were forced on to the new 'Unlimited' subscription tier and our monthly charges have increased to $322.80(!). There was zero notification and the company did not seek approval from us for this.

Having flagged this to their customer support I have received several incoherent emails from an AI chat agent. The website's support section is confusing and seems intentionally poorly designed to reduce complaints.

In the meantime, we've been forced to stay on the Unlimited tier for the whole of December, despite processing a downgrade on the 3rd December.

Really disappointed with this shady behaviour. I'll be disputing the charge and would encourage others to do the same. Looks like it's time to seek out an alternative content hosting solution.

Update: Updating from 1 to 3 as the Issuu team have now issued a refund which is much appreciated.

As other users have noted

As other users have noted, Issuu recently changed their pricing and subscription tiers. This meant our subscription increased from $480 to $2740 with no notification like other reviewers.

Having filled in an online form 3 times I have received no communication from ISSUU. There is no other contact available.

This is unethical behaviour and will put charities and the businesses into financial trouble.

If you are considering ISSUU, think twice!! Be warned!!

Issuu publications are excellent

I have used Issuu for some years now as we offer a big range of bereavement books for children and families to remember their lost little ones and grown ups too. It provides us with all we need to create fantastic LOOK INSIDE the book and offers so much more. I had an issue this week and they resolved it and were most helpful.

Had a problem with a playbill that wasn't loading in the stacks. Victoria and the team have resolved my problem. They have a quick response.

Care for consumers

I really love the features that Issuu provides, and what makes me want to spend time to write this review is that Issuu does not force users to pay or use money for their service. The free plan is very generous and can help many people who may not be able to afford this service to use it. I really appreciate this care and will definitely be willing to upgrade to a paid plan in the future if it is within my budget.

Live help resolves problems quickly

Our company has used Issuu for more than a year to publish our digital magazines. Recently, we had a problem with the pages we chose to show for a new edition. I contacted Issuu customer support, and Sara resolved the problem in minutes. I've always been impressed with reaching a live person quickly with Issuu, and finding answers immediately.
