Last Map Update: Thu, Jan 9, 2025 at 3:34:09 am CST

Here are the expected snow totals ending Friday morning. The heaviest snowfall where up to 5 inches or possibly greater amounts will be possible will be along highway 60 and interstate 40.
Snow is expected to start across the southern Texas Panhandle this morning and then it will spread northward through mid day. Snow is then expected to end late tonight.
The strongest wind gust are expected to be across the western Oklahoma Panhandle and the northwest Texas Panhandle where winds may reach 45 mph. These strong winds will cause areas of low visibility in wind driven snow.
With winter weather looking likely Thursday into Friday, make sure to be prepared for hazardous travel conditions. Please continue to check back on the forecast for winter weather, and take the proper safety precautions.
