Overview

Periods of moderate to heavy rainfall are expected through tomorrow evening. Flash flooding and debris flows will be possible, especially over burn scars, mountainous terrain, saturated soils, and narrow canyons. Prolonged periods of light to moderate rain are expected in the interim. An additional 0.5 to 2 inches of rain is expected. Additionally, strong to severe thunderstorms are possible, most likely across the Four Corners area, which could lead to even heavier rain rates, hail, and damaging winds.
