I was struck on August 10, 2014. I was fishing with my family at the lake. A monsoon storm came on really fast and it started hailing golf ball size hail. My family ran to the truck while I stayed to gather a few items. I was getting pelted in the head so I grabbed my canvas folding chairs and put it over my head, took a step and heard a loud crack and boom. Next thing I knew, I was on my back with people all around me and rain pouring down. I was initially paralyzed from the waist down for about 6 hours. I was hit in the upper back, have three exit wounds on both feet. 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns. I had three fractured vertebrae on my spine. Was in the burn unit for three days. I no longer work, I've got bad depression, anger issues, joint swelling, nueroprathy, memory issues, word recall issues, PTSD. Accident happened at Woods Canyon Lake in Arizona on the Mogillion Rim.
