A Wind Advisory has been issued for all of southeast Arizona from 10 pm this evening through 10 pm Wednesday. Expect strong easterly winds starting late this evening and continuing through Wednesday evening. Winds begin to subside late Wednesday evening. Be sure to secure loose objects. Localized blowing dust may reduce visibility, especially near and west of the Wilcox Playa. Reductions in visibility may also be possible with blowing snow, especially Wednesday morning. Additionally, wind will result in very cold wind chills, especially east of Tucson.
A Freeze Warning has been issued for all of southeast Arizona Wednesday evening through Friday morning. For the Tucson Metro and areas west expect temperatures 25-32°F. For areas east of the Tucson Metro, expect temperatures 14-26°F.
People, pets, pipes, and plants are susceptible to cold temperatures. Do your part to prepare to protect them from upcoming freezing temperatures in the forecast!
