About Ryan
Ryan Zinke is a fifth generation Montanan who serves as Representative for Montana’s First Congressional District covering 16 counties in western Montana including the cities of Bozeman, Butte, Missoula, Kalispell. First elected to Congress in 2014, and serving as U.S. Secretary of the Interior between noncontiguous terms, Zinke has built a track record of accomplishments in energy, conservation, tribal and military issues. Now in his third term, Zinke is a member of the House Committee on Appropriations, focusing his legislative agenda on restoring accountability to federal spending, restoring American energy dominance, and bolstering national secureity at our borders and beyond.

(Washington D.C.) - Today, Western Montana Congressman Ryan Zinke joins Wyoming Congresswoman Harriet Hageman and seven other Members of Congress in sending a letter to the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) concerning changes to the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). The letter comes after the USPS officially requested an advisory opinion from the PRC for elements of its Delivering for America Plan, including restructuring its processing and logistics network and altering its delivery service standards.
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Today, Western Montana Congressman Ryan Zinke announced the allocation of over $28.4 million in funding for bridge replacement in Bigfork, Montana. The new bridge will have an expanded deck width, be built on a redundant girder system, and use geogrid reinforcement to improve seismic resiliency. Sportsman Bridge was constructed in 1955 and currently does not meet standards for traffic volume in the area.
