I tried close/open cycling and shutter 0 worked but shutter 1 remained closed. Upon removing the aft optics cover I found that two of the shutter blades were melted together at the center edges and all the center edges looked like they were heat damaged. I was able to separate the two stuck blades so that shutter one opens. ___end___ Tue Jul 11 20:54:02 GMT 2017 COMP End Patrol Tue Jul 11 21:00:59 GMT 2017 SGS Alignment complete Tue Jul 11 21:00:18 GMT 2017 CoMP occulter has been re-centered Tue Jul 11 21:00:45 GMT 2017 COMP Start Patrol on cookbook: waves-00001.cbk WEATHER COMMENT: stueben: Tue Jul 11 21:01:13 GMT 2017 Orographic clouds are beginning to degrade images. ___end___ Tue Jul 11 21:12:57 GMT 2017 KCOR End Patrol Tue Jul 11 21:12:47 GMT 2017 COMP End Patrol WEATHER COMMENT: stueben: Tue Jul 11 21:14:12 GMT 2017 In rapidly building orographic clouds, instruments idled. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY stueben: Wed Jul 12 01:29:16 GMT 2017 Cirrus at startup cleared about 8AM, seeing was only fair and there were significant aerosols, orographic clouds came up rapidly at 11AM and never cleared. ___end___Fetched URL: https://download.hao.ucar.edu/d5/mlso/log/observer/2017/mlso.2017d192.olog
