I checked the spar balanced and deicded to add 5# to the the threaded rod at the bottom of the spar. This seems to give much better spar proformance and makes is just slightly back heavy. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Sun Nov 03 22:23:45 GMT 2019 Hard drive swap PM profomed on Qian's GPS reciever. It was found that when we put the new drive in in Jan 2018 the systme ran happly for about 6 days before something crashed. No data has been taken since. We will need to find a good long term solution for keeping up with this system so we dont lose data again. But in the short term, I think peroidic (daily?) visual checks of the drive to see that the little blue hard drive light is still blinking would be a good start. ___end___ Sun Nov 03 22:44:25 GMT 2019 Kcor Focus/alignment program exited GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Sun Nov 03 22:59:53 GMT 2019 Cirrus made it north to the observatory. ___end___ ONSITE STAFF: berkeyFetched URL: https://download.hao.ucar.edu/d5/mlso/log/observer/2019/mlso.2019d307.olog
