----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mauna Loa Solar Observatory Observer's Log ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thu Oct 27 16:52:17 GMT 2022 Year: 22 Doy: 300 Observer: berkey WEATHER COMMENT: berkey: Thu Oct 27 16:52:17 GMT 2022 Temp: 40.9f, Humidity: 100%, Pressure: 28.577in, Wind: 3mph from 273degs, Skies: cirrus overcast, with a fog bank just covering the observatory dome closed for now. ___end___ UCoMP COMMENT BY berkey: Thu Oct 27 23:31:44 GMT 2022 Inspected the UCoMP O1 and mount, to try and understand if/how we might be getting the E/W asymmetry in the data. Retaining ring was removed from the front of the O1 and the glass shifted slightly, not sure how it shifted; but I heard a slightly motion of the glass in the mount. On inspection the glass seemed well seated and square to the mount. Retaining ring was reinstalled and the lens was reinstalled in the telescope. I dont believe there was a change in the glass postion before and after the inspection and therefore I dont expect we will see a change in the UCoMP data. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Fri Oct 28 00:34:40 GMT 2022 Fog and rain all day. No data. ___end___ ONSITE STAFF: berkeyFetched URL: https://download.hao.ucar.edu/d5/mlso/log/observer/2022/mlso.2022d300.olog
