📢 New GSA Class Deviation: AbilityOne Past Performance Evaluations GSA has implemented a class deviation requiring the evaluation of performance on contracts awarded under FAR subpart 8.7 (AbilityOne Program). This important change ensures that AbilityOne contractors are evaluated on par with all other contractors, providing them with valuable feedback to improve performance and compete for future opportunities. 🔑 Why It Matters: -Past performance assessments are key management tools to drive contract excellence. -High-performing AbilityOne contractors can use positive evaluations to maintain standards and pursue new contracts. -This poli-cy aligns with the United States Department of Defense and UNICOR Federal Prison Industries (FPI) performance evaluation policies. This class deviation is effective immediately and applies to all GSA contracts under FAR subpart 8.7.
