Admissions Deadlines
| July 26, 2024 | Deadline domestic applications to be submitted to the Graduate School for the Fall 2024 semester. |
| September 15, 2024 |
Deadline for international applications to be submitted to the Graduate School for the 2025 Spring Semester.

Deadline for domestic applications to be submitted to the Graduate School for the 2025 Spring semester.

| April 19, 2025 |
Deadline for domestic applications to be submitted to the Graduate School for the Summer 2025 Semester.

Registration Deadlines
| August 26 - 30, 2024 |
Late registration begins for returning students and applicants cleared for late admission for the Fall 2024 semester. A late fee is assessed for students who register late.

| October 14 - November 26, 2024 |
Spring 2025 registration opens for new students in the following categories: online certificate, non-degree, certificate non-degree, visiting, and online degree seeking.

| November 4 - November 26, 2024 |
Priority registration for the Winter 2024 intersession and Spring 2025 semester.

| December 2, 2024 - January 12, 2025 | Registration continues for Winter 2024 for currently enrolled students. Winter 2024 intersession and Spring 2025 registration for newly admitted students opens. |
| December 9, 2024 - January 12, 2025 | New post-baccalaureate student registration for the Spring 2025 semester. |
| January 13 - January 17, 2025 |
Late registration begins for returning students and applicants cleared for late admission for the Spring 2025 semester. A late fee is assessed for students who register late.

| March 31 - April 22, 2025 | Priority registration for the Summer 2024 term. Please make sure to meet with your advisor to remove your advisor hold before priority registration begins. Check the registration webpage for more information about steps you should take to ensure a smooth registration process. |
| May 19 - 20, 2025 | Late registration begins for returning students and applicants cleared for late admission for the Summer 2025 term. A late fee is assessed for students who register late. |
Add/Drop Deadlines
| Summer 2024 Semester | |
| May 12, 2024 | Last day a student may officially drop a course or withdraw from all classes for the Summer 2024 term with the Office of the University Registrar for a full refund. |
| May 13, 2024 | Summer 2024 classes begin. |
| August 7, 2024 | Official end of the Summer 2024 term. |

| Fall 2024 Semester | |
| August 25, 2024 | Last day a student may officially drop a course or withdraw from all classes for the Fall 2024 semester with the Office of the University Registrar for a full refund. |
| August 26, 2024 | Fall 2024 semester classes begin. |
| August 30, 2024 | Last day to add a class for the Fall 2024 semester. |
| September 1, 2024 | Last day to fully withdraw or reduce course load for the Fall 2024 semester and receive an 80% refund for full-term courses. |
| September 15, 2024 | Last day to drop a full-term class for the Fall 2024 semester without it appearing on a transcript. |
| September 15, 2024 | Last day to change grading option for full-term classes for the Fall 2024 semester (credit to audit or audit to credit). |
| September 22, 2024 | Last day to fully withdraw or reduce course load for the Fall 2024 semester and receive a 50% refund for full-term courses. |
| October 28, 2024 | Midterm of Fall 2024 (end of the ninth week of classes). |
| November 6, 2024 | Last day to fully withdraw or reduce course load from full-term classes for the Fall 2024 semester. After this date students are only permitted withdrawal for urgent non-academic reasons. |
| November 4, 2024 - January 12, 2025 | Add/Drop begins for registered students and students who have not registered for Spring 2025. |
| December 11, 2024 | Last day of Fall 2024 semester classes before final exams. |
| December 11, 2024 | Permissive withdrawal deadline: Last day a student may petition to fully withdraw or reduce course load for Fall 2024 semester due to urgent non-academic reasons. |
| December 20, 2024 | Official end of the Fall 2024 semester. |
| Winter 2024 Intersession | |
| December 22, 2024 | Last day a student may officially drop a course or withdraw from all classes for the Winter 2024 intersession with the office of the University Registrar for a full refund. |
| December 23, 2024 | Winter 2024 intersession classes begin. |
| December 26, 2024 | Last day to add a Winter 2024 intersession class. |
| December 26, 2024 | Last day to fully withdraw or reduce course load for the Winter 2024 intersession and receive an 80% refund for full-term courses. |
| December 27, 2024 | Last day to drop a full-term class for the Winter 2024 intersession without it appearing on a transcript. |
| December 27, 2024 | Last day to change grading option for full-term classes for the Winter 2024 intersession (credit to audit or audit to credit). |
| December 28, 2024 | Last day to fully withdraw or reduce course load for the Winter 2024 intersession and receive a 50% refund for full-term courses. |
| January 5, 2025 | Last day to fully withdraw or reduce course load from full-term classes for the Winter 2024 intersession. After this date students are only permitted withdrawal for urgent non-academic reasons. |

| Spring 2025 Semester | |

Graduation Deadlines
| Summer 2024 Semester | |
| June 18, 2024 | Last day doctoral candidates for an August 2024 degree can submit a Notification of Intent to schedule a final exam in the Graduate School. |
| July 24, 2024 | Last day candidates for an August 2024 degree can sit for the final examination. All scheduling requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the proposed examination date. |
| August 1, 2024 | Last day candidates for an August 2024 degree can submit their thesis/dissertation for format review to the Graduate School via UKnowledge. |
| August 8, 2024 | Last day for August 2024 degree candidates to submit final revised thesis/dissertation (ETD) to the Graduate School for students who first submitted August 1st. |
| Fall 2024 Semester | |
| September 20, 2024 | Last day doctoral candidates for a December 2024 degree can submit a Notification of Intent to schedule a final examination in the Graduate School. |
| November 1, 2024 | Last day to apply for a December 2024 graduate degree in myUK. |
| December 5, 2024 | Last day candidates for a December 2024 degree can sit for a final examination. All scheduling requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the proposed examination date. |
| December 13, 2024 | Last day candidates for a December 2024 degree can submit their thesis/dissertation for format review to the Graduate School via UKnowledge. |
| December 20, 2024 | Last day for December 2024 degree candidates to submit final revised thesis/dissertation (ETD) to the Graduate School for students who first submitted December 13th. |
| December 20, 2024 | Commencement for December 2024 graduates. |
| Spring 2025 Semester | |
| February 20, 2025 | Last day doctoral candidates for a May 2025 degree can submit a Notification of Intent to schedule a final examination in the Graduate School. |
| April 1, 2025 | Last day to apply for a May 2025 or August 2025 graduate degree via myUK. |
| April 24, 2025 | Last day candidates for a May 2025 degree can sit for a final examination. All scheduling requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the proposed examination date. |
| May 2, 2025 | Last day candidates for a May 2025 degree can submit their thesis/dissertation for format review to the Graduate School via UKnowledge. |
| May 9, 2025 | Last day for May 2025 degree candidates to submit final revised thesis/dissertation (ETD) to the Graduate School for students who first submitted May 2nd. |
| May 9 - 10, 2025 | Commencement for May 2025 graduates. |
