CHET primary faculty member Justin X. Moore, PhD, is co-leading a summer programming workshop for high school students called Biostat Prodigy. This 5-day immersive workshop on statistical programming is co-led by Kristen McQuerry, PhD, associate professor in the College of Public Health Department of Biostatistics in partnership with Fayette County Public Schools.

Yolanda Jackson worked for years as a clinical dietitian and University of Kentucky lecturer in dietetics and human nutrition before she decided to pursue a PhD in health communication —a field she describes as a “missing link” for making a positive impact in public health.
